Have you been in a breakfast rut?
I know some of you have so I wanted to share what I personally do for breakfast! During the week I typically make a green smoothie (with spinach, frozen banan, almond butter & water- literally been obsessed with this one for over a year & still not sick of it!)
On the weekends we rotated with oat bowls, smoothie bowls, or fried egg bowls when we are eating at home. This Saturday we made oat berry bowls and added drinkable yogurt, as I am on antibiotics and need all the probiotics I can get! For this bowl you need organic rolled oats + blueberries + blackberries + slivered almonds + any nut butter (used peanut butter in this one) + shaved coconut + cinnamon.
On Sunday I had a green smoothie and then had to take Kyle to the ER! It’s been a crazy sick week for him & I between urgent care & ER visits..but we are on the up hill now. It was a sunny day in Seattle (in case you didn’t already know by the amount of people talking about the sun!) so we are looking forward to the next one we can enjoy!
