I have been so into bullet coffee lately! I brew my espresso (via Nespresso) steam almond milk, add 1 tsp of grassfed butter and 1 tsp coconut oil to coffeec pour milk and coffee in the blender, add a dash of cinnamon + 1/2 tsp madgascar vanilla bean paste and blend for 30 seconds! Once it feels like it’s ready to go, pour into my to go cup & shave somefresh nutmeg on top!
ITS SO DELISH.
I like it because: Healthy saturated fat, blood sugar stability, (good to balance with the caffeine, so no caffeine crash). Anti inflammatory, better for heart health, high amounts of vitamin A, vitamin K2, vitamin D & vitamin E, energy boosting & appetite suppressing, more carotene than carrots, source of good MCTs (medium chain triglycerides) which supports immune system and boost metabolism. Grassfed butter is a super food.
I have read that kerrygold grassfed butter is only 97% grassfed vs 100% but if your that concerned, try use coconut oil!
Why not give it a try? Its not for everyone, but I sure love it! I also note that while I am adding butter to my morning coffee, I typically don’t have butter throughout the day, unless I am out to dinner and they have warm bread + salty butta 🙂
